Terms & conditions

These terms describe the rules for using Online JS Compiler.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Using the service

You may use Online JS Compiler for lawful development, education, experimentation, and testing. You are responsible for your activity, the code you run, and the results you rely on.

2. Prohibited activity

Do not use the service to distribute malware, attack systems, evade access controls, violate another person’s rights, process data without permission, or interfere with the application or its users. Do not use the playground as a substitute for security review or production monitoring.

3. Your code and content

You retain responsibility for code, prompts, test cases, and other content you enter. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content. The application does not guarantee that locally stored content will survive browser resets, device loss, or software changes.

4. Execution and generated output

JavaScript runs in your browser and may produce unexpected output, consume browser resources, or fail. AI-generated tests and explanations are suggestions, not guarantees. Review all generated or copied code before execution and independently verify important results.

5. Third-party providers

Optional AI features use providers selected by you and called directly from your browser with your own API key. Those providers have separate terms, availability, pricing, and privacy practices. You are responsible for complying with the provider’s requirements and protecting your key.

6. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep backups of anything important and do not rely on the playground as your only copy of source code.

7. Updates to these terms

We may change these terms when the product or law changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to hello@onlinejscompiler.com.
